3.1 Delivery area

Wheels Warehouse delivers to addresses within South Africa, subject to courier coverage and any restrictions displayed during checkout.

Delivery to remote areas, farms, mines, informal settlements, border areas or locations outside normal courier routes may require an additional charge or collection from the nearest courier depot.

International or cross-border orders will only be accepted where confirmed in writing.

3.2 Delivery information

Customers must provide a complete and accurate:

• Recipient name.
• Contact number.
• Street address.
• Suburb.
• Town or city.
• Province.
• Postal code.
• Business name, unit number or access instructions where relevant.

Wheels Warehouse will not be responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer.

3.3 Processing and delivery times

Orders are processed after cleared payment and stock confirmation.

Standard order processing: [INSERT NUMBER] business days.
Estimated major-centre delivery: [INSERT NUMBER] business days after dispatch.
Estimated regional or outlying-area delivery: [INSERT NUMBER] business days after dispatch.
Special-order delivery: As stated in the written quotation or order confirmation.

These are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates unless Wheels Warehouse expressly agrees to a specific date in writing.

South African law generally requires online suppliers to disclose delivery or dispatch times and to fulfil orders within the agreed period. Where no other period is agreed, ECTA contains a 30-day performance rule.

3.4 Stock availability

Website stock indicators are updated regularly but may not always reflect real-time warehouse or supplier availability.

An order confirmation does not guarantee availability until the order has been checked and accepted.

Where a product is unavailable, Wheels Warehouse may offer:

• A suitable alternative.
• A revised expected delivery date.
• Store credit, where accepted by the customer.
• A full refund.

No substitute will be supplied without the customer’s agreement.

3.5 Delivery charges

Delivery charges are calculated according to the destination, package dimensions, weight, courier service and number of parcels.

Any delivery cost displayed during checkout applies only to the address entered at that time.

Additional charges may apply where:

• The address is changed after dispatch.
• The courier makes repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts.
• Special access, redirection or depot storage is required.
• The destination falls outside standard courier zones.

3.6 Tracking

Where available, tracking details will be sent by email, SMS or WhatsApp after dispatch.

Tracking updates are supplied by the courier and may not update immediately.

3.7 Receipt and inspection

A person accepting delivery at the address provided by the customer may be regarded as authorised to receive the order.

Customers should inspect the packaging and number of parcels before signing. Any visible shortage or damage should be written on the delivery document and photographed.

3.8 Failed deliveries

Where delivery fails because no authorised person is available, the address is inaccessible or the customer supplied incorrect information, the courier may return the shipment to Wheels Warehouse.

The customer may be required to pay reasonable redelivery and return charges before the order is dispatched again.

3.9 Collection

Where collection is offered, the customer must wait for written confirmation that the order is ready.

The person collecting may be required to produce:

• The order number.
• Proof of identity.
• Written authorisation from the purchaser.
• Proof of payment.

3.10 Prices

All prices are displayed in South African rand.

Prices will be stated as including or excluding VAT according to the tax status displayed on the website and invoice.

The final checkout amount should include the product price, applicable tax, delivery fees and other disclosed charges.

3.11 Payment methods

Available payment methods will be displayed during checkout and may include:

• Debit or credit card.
• Instant electronic funds transfer.
• Standard EFT.
• Other approved payment services.

Wheels Warehouse may add, remove or temporarily disable a payment option.

3.12 EFT payments

An order paid by EFT will only be processed after the funds reflect as cleared in the designated Wheels Warehouse bank account.

A proof-of-payment document does not by itself constitute cleared payment.

Customers must use the order number as the payment reference.

3.13 Card and online payment security

Card transactions may be processed by an independent payment-service provider. Wheels Warehouse does not intentionally collect or retain complete card numbers where the transaction is handled by that provider.

Wheels Warehouse may conduct reasonable security or identity checks before accepting or dispatching an order.

3.14 Fraud prevention

Wheels Warehouse may place an order on hold or cancel it where there is a reasonable concern regarding:

• Unauthorised payment.
• Identity theft.
• Incorrect cardholder details.
• Suspicious transaction activity.
• A request to deliver to an unverified address.

Any personal information used for fraud prevention will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

3.15 Ownership and risk

Ownership of the goods remains with Wheels Warehouse until full payment has cleared.

Responsibility for the goods will transfer in accordance with applicable law when the goods have been delivered to the customer or an authorised recipient.
